Running Total Field command

Use the Running Total Field command to insert a Running Total Field in your report. This command totals all records (in the report, in the group, and so on) up to and including the current record. For example, if the three records in a specific field have values of 2, 4, and 7, and you insert a Running Total Field to summarize that field, the running total would equal 13, according to the following process:

When you choose the Running Total Field command, the Field Explorer appears with Running Total Fields selected.

Note:    You can also open the Field Explorer by clicking the Insert Fields button on the Standard toolbar.
